Welcome Baby M | Atlanta Fresh 48 Newborn Photographer and Filmmaker

Something that I encourage my expecting parents, who already have children, to do is a Fresh 48 Hospital Newborn session. These sessions are held at the hospital in the first 48 hours after your baby’s birth. I typically come the morning after once you’ve had some time to shower and settle in your room.

When you have other children I time it to be there when they will be arriving to meet their new baby sibling for the very first time! Talk about a moment you cannot recreate. Adding on video to these sessions is something I have also started offering. I get to recreate the anticipation of your children coming down the hospital hallway to your room. I get to see their big smiles upon seeing mommy after being apart for a day or two. Most importantly I get to capture those first reactions to meeting their new baby brother or sister. With younger siblings I love watching their brain just process that this “baby” you’ve been talking about is real. I love capturing the sweet snuggles, tender touches, and even their little voices saying hello for the first time.
