I spent yesterday evening with this family and their sweet new baby girl. A few weeks ago I met them at their home for an in-home maternity session before the little girl made her appearance. I really enjoy doing sessions for my clients in their home. While I love an open field at golden hour, there is just something special about documenting these big moments in the place you call home.
It's also great when you have little kids on a nap schedule! I typically shoot my outdoor sessions the hour after sunrise, or before sunset, the latter never being good for toddler bedtimes or moods. This is so I can get pretty light, on your pretty family's faces. When we shoot indoors I am more likely to be able to work with your little ones nap schedule. I can find a room, or a window with pretty light just about anywhere!
Once your baby is here I like to get a fun before and after for you as well, which you will see in the images below!
