Is there anything more gorgeous than a pretty sunset over the water? I think not! While I don’t have a beach near enough, and near enough in my book is out my front door, I am lucky that there are some beautiful spots in North Georgia that create the most stunning backdrops for custom portrait sessions!

I hadn’t been to this location in a while, but when this client mentioned she lived in Acworth I started looking for places near her. That is where I usually start with location choosing. I pick one or tow near you, and then might throw in one further, just depends on what your desired session style is.

This couple said in their initial consultation that were an active couple who enjoyed being in the outdoors, hiking, and playing with their dogs, and would like to see some pretty tree lines and maybe some water in their portraits, so I knew this spot in Acworth would be amazing!

Oh boy was it! The night was cool, and clear, and I got some beautiful portraits of this soon-to-be family of 3!
